If you love getting back to nature and are fascinated by geological wonders, glaciers, and unspoiled landscape, then you need to take a camping trip to Glacier National Park.  With thirteen different campgrounds that have over one thousand sites to choose from, you can find just the right spot to pitch your tent or park your RV. more info

Of the thirteen campgrounds within the boundaries of Glacier National Park, only one has shower facilities – Rising Sun Campground.  Showers are available here for a small fee. Some of the other campgrounds do have flushing toilets, but some have only pit toilets. 

Special care must be taken when using water at any of the campgrounds within the Park. It is not permitted to use the campground faucets to wash dishes, clothing, and clean fish, prepare food, or bathe. All wastewater, including water from showers and dishwashing, must be contained, and disposed of in utility sinks or at RV dump stations.  Recreational vehicles must use drain hoses at dump stations.

Other places to grab a hot shower or to do laundry include the private campgrounds, which can be found adjacent to Glacier National Park. One of the lodging facilities within the Park, the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn includes a camp store, a restaurant, public showers and a public laundry.
