West Glacier is in Flathead County, in the Kalispell metro area. This is a small scenic community in the Mountain Standard time zone, which serves as the west entrance into Glacier National Park in Montana.

Glacier Park offers nearly a thousand miles of trails. There are many short day hikes that will take you into Glacier's back country or to mountain chalets.
