Ironically, Columbia Falls didn't actually have a waterfall until 1998 when the town built one along with a small park to make sure they could live up to the name!

The town has about 3,700 people and is considered the "Gateway to Glacier National Park."

Columbia Falls has many outdoor recreational activities that visitors can enjoy, including one of the most stunning golf courses in the region (Meadowlake Golf Resort).

Or visit the Big Sky Waterslide Park if you want to have fun with the whole family in the summertime; in the winter enjoy the miles of groomed snowmobiling trails that make that first snowfall of the season an anticipated event.

Columbia Falls is also the center of a multitude of industrial businesses, such as the Columbia Falls Aluminum Company, Plum Creek Timber Company, and Stoltze Land and Lumber.

The people of Columbia Falls are proud to maintain their traditional, warm atmosphere and the sense of strong community that has been the foundation of the area for many years.
