The Conrad Mansion Museum

The Conrad Mansion is located in Kalispell, Montana. It was occupied until 1964, by Charles Conrad's youngest daughter, Alicia Conrad Campbell. In 1974, Ms. Campbell made the decision to give the Conrad Mansion to the City of Kalispell in memory of her pioneering parents.

The Conrad Mansion Museum is located in Kalispell, Montana on the 330 block of Woodland Avenue. Kalispell is reached on US Highway 2 southwest of Glacier National Park. The museum’s phone number is 406-755-2166.

The Conrad Mansion is open from 15 May to 15 October, from 10 am to 5 pm on Tuesday to Sunday.

The Conrad Mansion sits overlooking the valley and the Swan mountain range. One of the founders of Kalispell built this Victorian home as a permanent place for his descendants to live. It remains unchanged since it was constructed in 1895.

The home’s exterior has long gables, beautiful bay windows and huge stone chimneys. Landscaped acres contain six large flowerbeds and constant color in the summer. Inside you’ll see the gorgeous oak trim and paneling, and the eight massive fireplaces. All nine bedrooms have their own marble sink. More than 90% of the items in the home, including toys, china and furniture, are all original.
