Glacier National Park Service / Concessions

Glacier National Park offers many concession services including lodges, tours, restaurants, and shopping. These services are provided by companies contracted by Glacier National Park.

Lodging

• Lodges and Inns are located throughout the park. You can stay in historic hotels, rustic cabins and inns, or hike-in chalets.
• Reservations are recommended for all types of accommodations.
• Laundry and gas facilitates can be found at most of the lodges and hotels.

Tours

• Boat tours with commentary are offered at Many Glacier, Two Medicine, Rising Sun, and Lake McDonald.
• Some companies offer combination trips with boat rides and guided hiking.
• If you prefer to just hike, there are many guided hiking and shuttle companies.
• Guided horseback trips are available at Many Glacier and Lake McDonald.

Restaurants
Good food can be found in Apgar Village, Many Glacier, and Lake McDonald and along the Going-to-the-Sun Road.  Most lodges and hotels offer dining services.

Groceries
Camp stores provide a limited selection of groceries and supplies. You can find stores in Apgar, Lake McDonald, Rising Sun, and Two Medicine.

Gift Shops
Most of the gift shops are located in lodges and hotels. You can find local books and maps, fine Native jewelry and crafts and various Huckleberry products.
