Fishing

Glacier National Park and Flathead Valley in northern Montana are known for having some of the best fly fishing in the northwest. Several operations in the area guide fly fishing trips along the middle and north forks of the Flathead River. There are also endless rivers, streams and lakes to fish for the native Westslope cutthroat trout within the national park. If you forgot an essential fishing item at home not to worry; there are a number of shops in Flathead Valley that supply fly fishing gear.
