Early Bird XC Mountain Bike Race
The Early Bird XC Mountain Bike Race is a cross country bike race that takes place at Big Mountain, Montana. The five mile, multi-lap race travels through the Nordic Center at Big Mountain. There are classes for each skill level, beginner, sport, and expert with age and gender classes in each.
It's a great way to start the summer bike riding season and to check out your abilities or lack thereof. If you find that your skills are little lacking, you could sign up for the Big Mountain Bike Academy. The Big Mountain offers a summer program that lasts eight weeks and can help you with the technical aspects of mountain biking. You can refine your skills at track riding, bridges, ladders, rails, bike repair on the trail and still ensure having fun and being safe.
