Overview: You can choose between a trip to the Grinnell Lake after a cruise on Swiftcurrent and Josephine Lakes or hope across Two medicine Lake and walk to the beautiful Twin falls area. Both trips are guided by a nautralist ranger and help you reach a destination off the beaten path.
When: Trips are offered in the main summer season. Snow melt and weather depending of course.
Where: Choose to depart for either Grinnell Valley or Two Medicine Lake in Glacier national Park.
Fees: Fees for the boat ferry only. An Adult and child fee may be charged but is typically under $15 per adult and $6 per child. 4 and under are free.
Details: High snow levels may hinder tour dates. Most walks are around 2 to 2.5 miles treks. Or a total time of 2 1/2 -3 1/2 hours. The Grinnell Valley Cruise is offered once daily and the Two Medicine trip is offered twice a day. Make sure to check with the visitor centers in Glacier National Park on snow and weather conditions.
You may also look into the St Mary Boat cruise and walk to St Mary Falls that leaves rising Sun Boat dock. this is offered in July and August only.
