Big Mountain Summer Festival
Whitefish Mountain Resort near Whitefish Montana may be best known for its fantastic snow and winter sports, but when summer comes around, the Mountain gets into full swing with all types of activities and events to celebrate the warmth of the weather.
Since 2000, Whitefish Mountain Resort (formerly Big Mountain) has celebrated an annual Summer Festival. It is usually two days in mid-summer, a Saturday and Sunday. It is a great place to take the family or to attend as a couple or an individual. There is something for everyone, with a variety of art, food, and music. There are special activities for the younger members of your family and/or group. Live music and other types of entertainment are provided by local artists from the surrounding area. The entertainers from the Flathead Valley dance, sing, and perform some drama for your pleasure.
The beautiful scenery is alive with various festival booths which are usually open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. If you get hungry while enjoy all the sights and sounds, you can grab a bite to eat at the Whitefish Mountain Resort Restaurants.
