Big Mountain Free Sunday Summit Concerts
What could be better than smelling the pine trees, gazing at the lake, relaxing in the grass all while listening to wonderful music? The only way that this could get any better is if it is free! And free is what it is when you attend any of the Free Sunday Summit Concerts at Big Mountain Resort near Whitefish, Montana. The concerts take place on a magnificent stage which is at the summit of Big Mountain, so although, the actual concert is free, you will have to purchase a lift ticket to get to the concert site.
The concerts are scheduled to take place in the afternoons, therefore the minimal fee for the lift ticket is a small price to pay for the scenic ride up the mountain and back down again. The ride itself is worth the price of the lift ticket, and you get to attend a concert too. The air is refreshing and the view breathtaking. If you already have a season pass lift ticket for the current year, you do not have to pay any additional fee.
The concerts are just one of many summer activities that get into full swing as the final snow melts off the Mountain and the warm weather heralds the beginning of summer. The Free Sunday Summit Concerts do not take place every Sunday, so if you plan on attending one, it is best to call for more specific information.
