Glacier National Park Internet Access / Wifi

Internet Access

Internet access is fairly limited inside Glacier National Park, but the nearby communities of Whitefish and Kalispell are the best places to enjoy both broadband and Wi-Fi connections and access. Traveling to the park does mean having great adventures, but connecting to family and friends can still be done in these nearby towns.

Most travelers to Glacier National Park will at some point need to check in with the Internet for one reason or another. However, even Wi-Fi signals are very poor there. In the closest towns of Kalispell and Whitefish, many lodgings have access, including broadband, but for a price. There are other locations to choose from, including free Wi-Fi and broadband access.

Kalispell has seven Wi-Fi locations, offering free access throughout the year. These can be found at the City Brew Coffee (15 Heritage Way and 1805 Highway 93 South), the Flathead County Library (247 1st Avenue East), Wheat Montana Deli (405 South Main Street), Montana Coffee Traders (328 W Center), the Cafe Espresso (20 North Main Street), Grande Central Coffee House (124 2nd Avenue East) and J.D. Morrell's (227 Main St).

Whitefish is also a good place to get connections and computer access. There are four locations, including City Brew Coffee (6550 Highway 93 South), the Whitefish Branch Library (9 Spokane Avenue) and Montana Coffee Traders (the Whitefish Roastery at 5810 Highway 93 South, and the Coffeehouse Cafe at 110 Central Avenue).
