Geography
Lake County consists of some awesome natural wilderness and wildlife areas, with the National Bison Range and the Bob Marshall Wilderness Area lying within its boundaries. Glacier National Park is also within easy reach. Montana’s Lake County contains the Mission Mountain Range and Mission Valley as well.
All together, the land area is 1,494 square miles and the water area is 160 square miles. Two thirds of Lake County, MT’s land is within the Flathead Indian Reservation.
